Wine experience!

Our winery is located in Trittenheim, amongst the vine-clad slopes of the Middle Moselle,
between the idyllic town of Bernkastel-Kues and the old Roman town of Trier.
Our vineyard is in one of the most beautiful and well known Mosel regions, steeped in wine
history and culture. Here you can really experience wine, as it should be.

Steep slopes

You can always make an excellent wine when using grapes grown on steeply angled slopes. The rocks reflect the sun's heat, and the vines enjoy the sun and shade. The gradient means that the yield is low, the grapes are small and the vines are deeply rooted. The result of which is a mineral rich and yet delicate wine.

Our vineyards are situated in the well-known vineyards Trittenheimer Altarchen, Neumagener Rosengartchen and in our own "Grand Cru location" Trittenheimer Apotheke.

Riesling & Co.

Classic vine varieties are important for us, and that is of course the means the Riesling is essential for us. Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Rivaner have found a welcome place in our winery.

Time, peace, tranquillity

After the “as late as possible” harvest, the grapes are gently processed and pressed in order to ferment slowly in wooden barrels or stainless steel tank. At our vineyard, we give the wine the time it needs, until it is ready to be bottled.

Our wines have unique identity. They feel as if they become as honest and straightforward as its producers.

Unique.

The wines of our region are unique and cannot be copied; therefore
we will always strive to bring out the best from the unique geological and climatic circumstances of our exceptional wine-growing region.

The work in our wine hills is exhausting. Even so, in the steep slopes of the Mosel
we can grow uniquely flavoured Riesling wines, which cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. This is precisely our motivation.
We want to create Mosel wines with unique character.

Thank you.

So many people help us year after year. Simply because the vines are on such a steep, the weather is not always your friend which means the work on the vineyards is very hard. We would like to take this opportunity to again say thank you to our daring wine harvesters, who help make this all possible.
